Where South Asian beauty meets clean, maintainable code.
The client came with stunning photography — rich, vibrant images of Indian culture and scenery — and that became the creative foundation for everything. Rather than designing around a template, I let the imagery lead, building a visual identity for the site that felt as alive and colorful as the culture it represented.
I handled both design and development, building the site as a custom WordPress theme so the client could manage and update their content independently after launch. It was the kind of project where creativity and technical execution had to work in perfect sync.
The result spoke for itself — in 2011, the site earned an AIGA Honolulu Award of Excellence at their 5-O biannual show, and a Bronze Medal at AAF-Hawaii's Pele Awards.
